<p><strong>Account Information:</strong> Name, email address, and password (hashed) when you create an account.</p>
<p><strong>Customer & Project Data:</strong> Customer names, addresses, phone numbers, and project details you enter into the app. This data is stored on your device and optionally synced to our servers.</p>
<p><strong>Uploaded Documents:</strong> Eagle View PDFs, insurance estimate PDFs, and site photos you upload to generate build sheets. These are processed by our AI and then stored securely.</p>
<p><strong>Usage Data:</strong> App crashes, feature usage, and performance metrics collected anonymously to improve the product.</p>
<p><strong>Device Information:</strong> Device model, OS version, and app version for troubleshooting.</p>
<h2>3. How We Use Your Information</h2>

<li>To store and sync your customers and projects across devices</li>
<li>To authenticate your account and maintain security</li>

<p>We do <strong>not</strong> sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:</p>

<li><strong>AI Processing Services:</strong> Document content is sent to AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI) solely to generate build sheets. They do not retain your data for training.</li>
<li><strong>Cloud Infrastructure:</strong> Secure hosting providers under strict data processing agreements.</li>
<li><strong>Payment Processors:</strong> RevenueCat and Apple/Google handle subscription billing. We never see your full payment card details.</li>
<li><strong>Legal Requirements:</strong> If required by law or to protect our rights.</li>

<h2>5. Data Retention</h2>
<p>We retain your account and project data as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all associated data within 30 days.</p>
<h2>6. Your Rights</h2>

<h2>7. Children's Privacy</h2>
<p>RoofBuild is intended for professional use by adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.</p>

<p>We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep it confidential.</p>

<p>We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.</p>
